28.3.14

I gave up self-subverting thoughts
Self: separate, me, that which knows
     Subvert: turn under, overthrow
As my Lenten (springtide) sacrifice:
To make sacred (to set apart)
As holy (heilagr) or reclaim whole

But mixed motivation complicates the task motives complicate
Do I seek to further separation separate
Or enhanced integration is my goal to integrate
Self-sufficiency or self-sacrifice
Self-sufficient or self-sacrificial

Is this my self fulfilled through
More and more differentiation
Or enhanced assimilation, And
In either case: from/with what from what with what

Am I subject (sub-jacere: thrown under)
S/he who is acted upon
Or object (ob-jacere: thrown before)
In either case, who is throwing

Am I perceived presented or purpose
Perceived by you, presented to whom
My own purpose or yours, perhaps
An unfolding exploratory proposition
